Sounds like a pipe dream to some. I know better. This is absolutely possible.
Notice it doesn’t say removes stress. There will likely always be a little bit of stress if you are actually moving in the direction you intend to go.
The way is often not straight forward and easy. Simple? Maybe. Easy, unlikely.
The simple path forward is developing a plan for your professional pursuit. If you have a clear picture of what that is for yourself, you need to take the time to do this.
Otherwise the anxiety and stress will become too great. Allow me to illustrate with a real life example.
Do you think that pilots approach a tour without developing a plan for how they are going to get there? Of course not. If that were true not very many people would fly. They have a detailed plan of how they will get there and what to do if things would happen to not go according to plan.
In fact, many pilots will practice scenarios in a simulator where things don’t go according to plan, to know how to better react in the event that it does happen.
So, if you are just winging it without a clear picture of how you plan to accomplish your professional pursuit, I hate to break it to you…you likely won’t get to see that come true.
If in the unlikely event that it does happen, you won’t have the foggiest idea how it happened and definitely wouldn’t be able to replicate it.
If you want more certainty in the activities that you are doing are moving you closer to your professional pursuit but have no idea how to get there consider the following offer.
