Going through the editing process has definitely been an emotional roller coaster for me. I have had some ups and downs. I have also had some sideways moments.
But all in all, I would not have traded it for anything. It has taught me a lot about how to write better and get my thoughts on paper (or screen) in a more concise way. Honestly, I wish this was how my English classes were when I was in school.
The exciting part for me is that I am only a few more weeks away from being able to transition into the publishing side of this process. I am sure I will have some lessons and stories that come from that experience as well.
When I look over what I have written, re-written, and complied into the manuscript that I have in front of me I am proud of my accomplishment. I am proud because it really does reflect me well.
It should come as no shock to anyone that the main theme of the book is on how to build more work:life harmony for yourself. It also touches on how you can learn to lead yourself before you lead others.
I draw on my experience as a Project Manager and leader over my career along with my understanding and study of the Japanese language and culture.
They are my words, my stories, my thoughts and in a way just how I live my life. I cannot wait to share it with all of you. And I hope that you will share your thoughts back to me on what you think of it.
If you want to learn more about how you can stay tuned to when the book is going to be released, drop a comment, send me a PM or an email. I am thinking about setting up an email list but am not sure how much interest there is.
More to come, stay tuned.
